Public profile and URL verification
Open Settings → Public Profile & URLs to edit your display name, logo and public workspace slug. Saving a new slug keeps your existing URL live until the new name is verified or approved.
Logos can be PNG, JPEG, WebP (up to 2 MB) or SVG (up to 500 KB). An SVG that embeds HTML, scripts or links to outside files is rejected; export a plain SVG from your design tool instead.
A PNG or JPG logo of 100 KB or less also appears at the top of the emails your subscribers and followers get, on every plan. See Email sender.
Verify with a DNS TXT record
- Save the public slug you want, such as
acme. - Under Verify your public URL with DNS, enter a domain you own with the
same name, such as
acme.comoracme.co.uk. - Select Create DNS record.
- At your DNS provider, add a TXT record using the displayed Host and
TXT value. Many providers want only
_frugalsaas-verifyas the host, because they append your domain automatically. - Return to Settings and select Verify.
A matching record activates the available slug automatically. Your old URLs redirect to the new URL and remain reserved. It does not require waiting for manual approval.
The challenge expires after seven days. Changing the requested slug invalidates the old challenge. Verification attempts are limited to one every 30 seconds. If the record is missing, check the host and exact value, allow DNS propagation, and try again. If it expires, create a new record.
A subdomain such as acme.someone-else.com, or a shared hosting domain, cannot
prove ownership of the matching top-level brand. Unmatched names retain manual
review. An already reserved slug cannot be claimed through DNS verification.
Archiving
A workspace owner can archive the workspace in Accounts. This takes all product content offline with 404 responses, preserves your data and reserves your slugs. Billing continues until managed separately.
