Workspaces

A workspace is shared across FrugalSaaS products. Switch workspaces with the sidebar selector, or open Accounts → Workspaces to create one.

Rename a workspace

Owners and admins can rename. Open Accounts → Workspaces, choose Rename next to the workspace, type the new name and save.

This changes the name your team sees — in the workspace switcher, on invitations and on your bill. It takes effect straight away.

It does not change your public pages, and it does not change any web address. Each product keeps its own public display name: in Heedback that is Settings → Public Profile & URLs → Display name. Changing your public web address is a separate step, described in Public profile and URL verification.

An archived workspace cannot be renamed. Restore it first.

Archive a workspace

Only a workspace owner can archive or unarchive it. Workspace admins cannot, even though they can manage everything else.

  1. Open Accounts → Workspaces and find the workspace.
  2. Select Archive workspace and read the warning.
  3. Type the workspace name exactly, including capitalization and spaces.
  4. Select Archive workspace in the confirmation dialog.

Archiving takes the workspace offline for everyone. Its product dashboards, public pages, boards, posts, surveys, experiences, API access and hosted assets return 404 Not Found until an owner restores it. Embeds stop receiving content. Scheduled publications and changelog digests pause; queued webhook deliveries are dropped while archived.

Allow about a minute for archiving and restoring to take effect everywhere. Pages and embeds already loaded in a visitor's browser, and anything their browser cached, can lag a little longer.

Nothing is deleted. Current and previous public slugs remain reserved to the workspace, so another account cannot claim those addresses. Data already downloaded or displayed in a customer's browser cannot be recalled.

Archiving does not cancel subscriptions or stop charges. Billing remains available in Accounts so an authorized teammate can manage subscriptions separately. The workspace list and your own profile also remain available.

Unarchive a workspace

Open Accounts → Workspaces, find the Archived workspace, and select Unarchive workspace. Type its name exactly and confirm. The same workspace, data, members and URLs become available again. Scheduled work can resume on its next processing cycle; already dropped webhooks are not replayed.
